Hérault: a mother on the run with her daughter arrested for eight months

Fanny Birenbaum had vanished with her five-year-old daughter last March, following a court decision pronouncing the placement of her child. She accused the father of incest.

Incest charges

Shortly before her departure, Fanny Birenbaum had informed the police that she feared that Maëva was a victim of incest from her father.
