Main: Iraq's stability is strategic and should not be compromised

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stressed that the unity and stability of Iraq is a strategic issue that must not be compromised.

In a telephone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Raisi expressed his support for any measure to solve problems legally and transparently, noting that Tehran's principled and consistent position is to support independence, security and the establishment of sovereignty in Iraq.

Raisi explained that the enemies of the region's countries are pursuing their evil goals through sedition, calling on everyone to be aware of such conspiracies and to use all energies in order to establish peace and stability in Iraq.

For his part, Al-Kazemi expressed his appreciation for Iran's steadfast support for the Iraqi people, noting Iran's permanent position in maintaining the security and stability of Iraq.
