Porsche continues to expand the Taycan range.
At the Los Angeles auto show, the Zuffenhausen automaker presented a third body silhouette of its electric sedan.
The designers did not look very far for inspiration for this model which sits between the sedan and the Cross Turismo.
From the latter, the new version incorporates the codes of the hunting station wagon already cleared on the Panamera Sport Turismo.

The main originality of this design is based on the extension of the roof line which allows for an increased headroom height of 45 mm at the rear.
More versatile than its sisters, the Taycan Sport Turismo has a trunk volume of over 1,200 liters, accessible from a tailgate.
The appearance of the Sport Turismo variant is coupled with a new GTS version.
Interposed between the Taycan 4S and the Taycan Turbo, this model displays a power of 440 kW (598 hp).
It is thus capable of reaching 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds.
Porsche has taken advantage of the enrichment of its range to improve the efficiency of its powertrain.
With the GTS version, the Taycan crosses the 500 km range for the first time, at 504 km.
This bonus program will benefit all models of the Taycan.

Regarding the GTS version, which is also available as a sedan, it is distinguished by bodywork elements treated in black or dark color such as the front bumper, the base of the exterior mirrors and the outline of the side windows.
The interior with a sporty design is mostly lined with suede.
The Taycan GTS will offer as an option, a first for the model, a panoramic roof with an electrically controlled liquid crystal film that filters the sun's rays into the passenger compartment.

Wanted more sporty than the other versions, the GTS model is equipped with an adaptive air suspension and the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system largely revised for the benefit of dynamism.
Agility can be enhanced with the optional rear-wheel steering.
The Sport Turismo version will be available with the other engines in the Taycan range.
The GTS versions will be marketed next spring.
The price of the Sport Turismo GTS is set at 136,619 euros.
