Today, President Bashar al-Assad issued four decrees appointing new governors for the governorates of Lattakia, Idlib, As-Suwayda and Daraa.
Below is the text of the decrees:
Decree No. (347)
President of the Republic
Based on the provisions of the Local Administration Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 107 of 2011 and its amendments.
And the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 43 of 1971.
Draw the following.
Article 1 cancels the appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Khader Al-Salem as Governor of Lattakia Governorate.
Article 2 appoints Mr. Amer Ismail Hilal as Governor of Lattakia Governorate.
Article 3/ This decree shall be published and notified to whoever is required to implement it.

Based on the provisions of the Local Administration Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 107 of 2011 and its amendments.
And the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 43 of 1971.

Article 1 cancels the appointment of Mr. Muhammad Natouf as Governor of Idlib Governorate.
Article /2/ appoints Mr. Thaer Nasih Salhab as Governor of Idlib Governorate.
Article 3/ This decree shall be published and notified to whoever is required to implement it.

Article 1 cancels the appointment of Mr. Hammam Sadiq Debiyat as governor of As-Suwayda Governorate.
Article 2 appoints Mr. Namir Habib Makhlouf as Governor of As-Suwayda Governorate.
Article 3/ This decree shall be published and notified to whoever is required to implement it.

Based on the provisions of the Local Administration Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 107 of 2011 and its amendments.

Article 1 terminates the appointment of Mr. Marwan Ibrahim Sharbak as Governor of Daraa Governorate.
Article /2/ Mr. Louay Khareta appoints the governor of Daraa Governorate.
Article 3/ This decree shall be published and notified to whoever is required to implement it.
