A reader of our newspaper who would like to remain anonymous, according to his own words, had to wait two hours in the cold in a long queue in front of the vaccination center on Wolfratshauser Gebhardstraße - although he had previously made an appointment online for a booster vaccination.

Not an isolated case, as the spokeswoman for the district office, Marlis Peischer, knows.
"We are striving to improve the situation as quickly as possible." There is "a lot done, a lot of work", but "we can't just flip a switch quickly" and everything works smoothly again from now on.
Peischer points out that the work of the Wolfratshauser vaccination center, which the Aicher Group operates on behalf of the district, was "shut down" a few weeks ago because the number of those who wanted to be vaccinated was becoming increasingly smaller.

"We know" that everything is not yet running optimally, says the spokeswoman for the authorities.
Peischer asks the citizens for their understanding and asserts: “We are exhausting all capacities.” There is continuous “work to improve processes”.
She reminds that a few days ago it was not clear whether enough vaccine was available for the first, second or so-called booster vaccinations.
In the meantime the all-clear was given.
Both the center on Gebhardtstrasse and the vaccination bus are adequately supplied with vaccines.
"That was an important step," said the spokeswoman for the district office.
“I cannot say today what will come in the next step.” Peischer can only promise this much: “We will announce immediately” all the optimizations that have been achieved.
