Russian scientists have developed a highly effective drug based on monoclonal antibodies to treat Covid-19 disease, which is caused by the coronavirus with its delta and gamma modifiers.
And Sputnik news agency quoted the director of the Engelhart Institute of Molecular Biology, researcher Alexander Makarov, as saying that the drug was developed by experts from the institute in addition to scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences with the participation of Russian research teams, indicating that it is able to neutralize the emerging corona virus in addition to the delta and gamma variables.
Makarov indicated that the drug relied on a test system to analyze antibodies against the Corona virus, explaining that the high efficiency of the new drug had been proven through laboratory tests, including on animals.
