At 7:34 am today (17th), the police received a report from the Northwest Interchange of Tsing Yi, approaching Ting Kau Bridge in the direction of Kowloon, when a truck hit a Tesla private car.
Tesla ran across the highway, and the driver had a sore foot and needed to be sent to hospital.
The Transport Department announced that due to a traffic accident, part of the traffic lanes from the Tsing Yi Northwest Interchange towards Kowloon near the Tsing Yi Administration Building were still closed.
Motorists can only use the remaining traffic lanes.
At present, the traffic lane at the northwest junction of Tsing Yi towards Kowloon has reached the exit of Tsing Long Highway near Tai Lam Tunnel towards Ting Kau Bridge and Tuen Mun Highway near Sham Tseng.
There is currently traffic congestion at the site.
