Near the cone of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, on the Spanish island of La Palma, a group of technicians from the Instituto Volcanológico de Canarias (Involcán) walked through a dense cloud of gas to measure parameters and learn about the state of the eruption.
After the analysis, the technicians determined that in the so-called "dead zone" of the volcano there is a very high concentration of gases, among other findings.
