A Tölzer (38) had to answer before the local court for driving without a license.
This is not the first time the defendant has stood there.
It was clear to the Tölzer that the latest case could have been avoided.
Bad Tölz
- The defendant saw that he had screwed up.
"I'm pretty sorry that I didn't use my head," said a Tölzer (38) who had to answer before the Wolfratshausen District Court.
A short “test drive” with a light motorcycle for which he did not have a driver's license earned him a fine of 2,700 euros.
His act might have been dismissed as a triviality - had it not been for the Tölzer's extensive criminal record.
The prosecutor called it a "glorious collection" which is now being expanded.
He just wanted to help the friend
The misfortune took its course when the defendant's girlfriend discovered in the morning that an oil stain had formed under her scooter.
The friend then took the car and he looked at the vehicle himself, the accused reported.
“The oil line was broken.
I repaired it. ”Then he rode his bike to the gas station to buy oil.
The line held, the repair had worked.
"I was so euphoric that I could do my girlfriend a favor," said Tölzer, explaining why he then made a "short test drive".
He only got a good kilometer.
Then the police stopped him as part of a "no-suspicion check".
Judge: "It would be nice if we don't see each other here again"
"The motives are commendable," said the prosecutor.
“Nevertheless, it is a criminal offense.” Although no traffic offenses were found among the man’s previous offenses, the prosecutor nevertheless applied for a “fine in the increased range”, namely 90 daily rates of 30 euros each.
Judge Helmut Berger followed the request and said goodbye to his old friend with the wish: "It would be nice if we don't see each other again."
