The end of the Suwayda Revitalizing Championship with a game of checkers

With the participation of 16 players, the Suwayda Revitalization Championship concluded with a game of checkers, which was held under the supervision of the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in the governorate.

The player Faris Zain Al-Din won first place with six points, followed by Ghazi Shehayeb with four and a half points, then Fouad Al-Baini and Youssef Shuja with four points.

In a statement to SANA, a member of the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in Sweida, Razan Al-Dali, indicated that the tournament comes within a series of activities of the Technical Committee for Sports for All, and witnessed the participation of players of different age groups.

Head of the Chess Technical Committee in Sweida, Eng. Rifaat Khader, pointed out that the tournament was held in the manner of the Swiss League of six rounds, and was characterized by a friendly and competitive atmosphere, and was held periodically with the aim of reviving this sport and re-publishing it in the governorate.
