The "Wagnergate", as the case has been dubbed by the Ukrainian media in reference to the name of the Russian private military company, begins in Minsk on July 29, 2020. With a lot of images shot by the Belarusian services, the president in about to be re-elected, Alexander Lukashenko, is pleased to have arrested 33 Russian mercenaries who according to him were instigating a foreign plot, in a hotel near the capital.

But in reality these fighters were trapped by the Ukrainian secret services, in an incredible operation which aimed to stop them.
