A senior in the football world has been arrested on suspicion of huge fraud and sexual offenses
Following an undercover investigation that lasted months, this morning dozens of police officers from Blade 433 raided the suspect's homes and businesses, along with seven others, including businessmen.
They are suspected of investing capital in cryptocurrencies and pocketing tens of millions of shekels each.

A businessman, a senior official in the world of football, was arrested this morning (Thursday) on suspicion of fraud amounting to tens of millions of shekels, as well as on suspicion of sexual offenses.
Along with him, seven other suspects, including businessmen, were arrested, following an undercover investigation by the Blade 433 unit, on suspicion of defrauding investors in cryptocurrency ventures.
According to the suspicion, the suspects, each according to his share, pocketed tens of millions of shekels, while presenting a false presentation to potential investors to invest in seemingly profitable ventures.
The investigation, which lasted several months, raised suspicions of committing offenses of receiving anything fraudulently under aggravated circumstances, theft by a licensee, conspiracy to commit a crime, offenses under the Anti-Money Laundering Act and offenses under the Income Tax Ordinance.

The investigation is being conducted by Yahav in Lahav 433 together with the Tax Authority, the Securities Authority, in cooperation with the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Authority and accompanied by the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office and the Tax and Economics Attorney's Office.
