Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian reiterated that the goal of Iran's active participation in the upcoming nuclear talks in Vienna is to lift the illegal US embargo imposed on it.
"All participating parties have reached a common understanding that the United States is the main cause of the current situation regarding the status of the nuclear agreement between Iran and the international community," Abdullahian said in telephone conversations with Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau.
Referring to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and Iran's support for peace, Abdullahian stressed that there is no military solution to the Yemeni crisis, calling for the lifting of the siege on the Yemeni people and an end to the war being waged against them.
Abdullahian described some areas of cooperation, especially diplomatic, parliamentary, cultural and scientific cooperation between Iran and Poland as good, pointing to the insufficient level of trade and economic relations between the two countries, which calls for more cooperation between the private sectors in them.
For his part, the Polish Foreign Minister expressed his country's desire to further strengthen relations with Iran.
