However, there is great disagreement between the traffic lights from the SPD, Greens * and FDP * and the Union.

NRW Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU *) recently called the traffic light's Corona plans inadequate, and Executive Chancellor Angela Merkel * (CDU) also joined the debate on Wednesdays.

She, too, apparently wants a harder pace from the traffic lights.

Merkel called on the Bund-Länder group to think about pandemic measures that went beyond the 2G rule.

Corona draft resolution leaked: Union the traffic light plan is not enough

The traffic light coalition under SPD * Chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz * had refined its draft law.

Among other things, the federal states should be given the opportunity to impose contact restrictions or to limit the number of guests in the catering trade.

But that still does not seem to be enough for the CDU / CSU union.

At the general meeting of the German Association of Cities on Wednesday in Erfurt, Merkel emphasized in a video link that the current pandemic situation was "dramatic".

And: "The fourth wave hits our country with full force." Therefore, the Corona summit on Thursday is "overdue".

Even more: As Bild reported on Wednesday, the Union has also drawn up a draft resolution for the deliberations on the planned Corona law in the German Bundestag, in the Bundesrat and at the federal-state summit.

• 2G rule consistently and nationwide for unvaccinated people:

  This was already announced by Merkel's statements. • 3G in buses, trains and trams:

• Schools and day-care centers:

  PCR tests are also to be used more in schools and day-care centers.

  The Union does not mention school closings.

• 2G plus in discos, clubs and bars:
