The number of corona infections in Brandenburg is increasing so much that it is no longer possible to track all contact persons of infected people, according to the state government.
The Ministry of Health recommended the counties and urban districts on Thursday to set higher priorities for contact tracing and the monitoring of quarantine.
Potsdam - The ministry advised that only the closest contact persons are followed up.
Outbreaks in hospitals, medical practices and nursing homes should have priority, then outbreaks in daycare centers, schools and after-school care centers.
"The current diffuse infection situation is very serious and worrying," said State Secretary for Health Michael Ranft.
