Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn - The citizens of the community of Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn were probably unsettled because of the exploding number of infections. Or just too happy or too comfortable to watch the town hall meeting. In any case, only about 30 visitors came to the multi-purpose hall for the face-to-face event, which was also broadcast live on the Internet, including members of the municipal council, school directors and representatives of the fire services.

And on the Internet, too, the interest in the accountability report of Mayor Mindy Konwitschny (SPD) was manageable.

At the top 90 citizens, on average 83, followed the live stream as the town hall chief processed over 150 slides full of information on community development.

Thanks to tradespeople: "Stay so hard - despite the pandemic"

Konwitschny and later district administrator Ernst Weidenbusch (CSU) as well as the police (see box) - apart from corona-specific bad news such as the cancellation of the local Christmas market - definitely had some good news to announce.

The mayor informed, for example, about the unscheduled increase in trade tax income, which significantly relieves the municipality's budget.

Instead of the planned 6.8 million euros, they are now reckoning with 15.4 million euros.

In this context, Konwitschny thanked all local tradespeople, immediately connected with the pious wish: Stay so hard-working - despite the pandemic. "

Various construction projects are making progress

Progress would also be made with the various construction projects in the area, such as the new construction of the Siegertsbrunn fire station, which could be moved into in January, and the renovation of the old pharmacy and multi-purpose hall as well as the expansion of the grammar school.

For the daycare springer pool, a force has now been found, and the SpVgg Höhenkirchen is getting a new floodlight system on the main square.

In this context, Konwitschny announced that the entire leisure (sports) area in the northwest of the municipality with the Bluebox leisure home, the skater park and the sports facilities of the SpVgg should be examined more closely and possibly planned over.

In connection with the new sports field concept, the location favored by the natural swimming pool association for the natural swimming pool should be "considered and weighed up" again.

The topic of gravel mining areas: Weidenbusch reports reassuring news

Even with the topic of gravel quarrying areas, the audience heard something reassuring, provided they are opponents of the project.

As the mayor announced, both the application for a gravel pit on the Muna site and for a mining area near Dürrnhaar are currently being examined by the district administration.

As deputy district administrator Weidenbusch specified, the former application is still at the request of the applicant.

The latter application is not processed at all, given that the application was made without the knowledge and consent of the property owner.

With so much input, all citizens were speechless in the end.

There were no questions, suggestions or applications to the municipal administration.
