According to OB Dieter Reiter (SPD), the city will decide on Tuesday whether this will take place.
Reiter explained: “There are two hearts beating in my chest.” On the one hand, he wanted to treat the people of Munich, on the other hand, one had to exercise caution in view of the infection.

According to Reiter, Munich wants to coordinate with the major cities of Nuremberg and Augsburg before making a decision.

If this is also decided for Munich, a 2G rule and mask requirement would apply there, according to the OB on separate gastro islands.
