The goal is to remind young people of the rules of online safety, on the occasion of the National Day against school bullying this Thursday.

As part of the National Day against Bullying at School, the e-Enfance association is running two simultaneous campaigns on Snapchat and TikTok, two social networks popular with young people.

On the first, a filter is offered to users for one day.

On TikTok, a page is entirely dedicated to the campaign, with emphasis on the “

Discovery

 ”

tab

to strengthen its visibility.

The national day against school bullying and cyberbullying is an opportunity to remind people of the rules of online safety and benevolence,

” says Justine Atlan, general manager of the e-Enfance association.

She adds that "it

is important that young users have the right reflexes

 ".

Support young people in their efforts

In order to question young people about their uses of the social network, an eight-question quiz is posted on TikTok.

The user must answer questions such as: “what type of content can you report?”, “A friend of yours sends you a lot of messages, is this cyberstalking?

Three choices are then possible, but only one answer is correct.

At the time of results, links and tips are displayed to help them report content or block certain users.

A video of testimonials from the association and an awareness-raising clip produced by the Ministry of National Education complete the quiz.

This initiative is also an opportunity to recall the national number for young victims of digital violence, 3018, free, anonymous and confidential from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Distress calls

We receive around sixty calls every day,

” says Justine Atlan.

It is mainly high school and college students who contact the association.

"

They are in distress and have the feeling that they have no other solution

 ", underlines the general manager.

At the end of the line, e-Enfance members support them in their efforts and reassure them.

 "

As part of their partnership, e-Enfance intends to carry out new campaigns on TikTok in the coming months, to improve the safety of the youngest.
