"The personnel situation is very limited," admitted school authority Robert Leiter in a press conference.

"But that should only be temporary," he emphasized.

She is supposed to support a pregnant colleague who teaches from home in the classroom.
"Because of Corona, pregnant women have to be withdrawn immediately, whether they want to or not," explained Leiter.
The Mobile Reserve, at least 38 colleagues, is completely and long-term bound.
“And here, too, there are illnesses and pregnancies.” They are still looking for replacements - teachers after the first state examination and teacher training students in higher semesters.
"We look forward to applications," says Leiter.
The Free State has created more study places, "but it will of course take a few years before the young colleagues can come to us". After all, he sees “light on the horizon” in elementary schools. At the secondary schools, the situation is “certainly not better”. The biggest problem here: The often bad reputation of this type of school does not motivate to study on it. The reputation is completely unjustified. Payment is also a problem. The attempt in the state parliament to pay teachers better and not to put elementary and secondary school teachers at a disadvantage financially failed, as is well known, because of the CSU / FW state government.

There is one secondary school and two primary school seminars in the district - in Taufkirchen, Klettham and Oberding. "After the second state examination, the young colleagues are with us two days a week and are prepared for school service, the other three days they are in their classes," reports the Poinger (50). She studied in Munich and taught there for four years. For 19 years she was a teacher in Poing. Most recently, the married mother of three children taught in Kirchheim (Munich district).
Stephan Rettig, who was appointed as a further school councilor in September 2020, only works for the Erdinger Schulamt and no longer with half a position in Ebersberg. Rettig is 62 years old, married, has one child and lives in Erding. Among other things, Rettig was the director of the home elementary school in Wartenberg and the elementary and middle school in Finsing. He was involved in the founding of the Erding and later Finsing-Oberding-Wörth schools. Now the leader only has to fill half a position in the state supervision of the elementary and secondary schools in Erdinger Land.

Fabian Steffl succeeds Sonja Wachtler, who has moved to the Kirchheim elementary and middle school, as vice principal.

Because Steffl, who is married, has a daughter (15) and a son (12) and lives in Wörth, comes from a business background.
From 2000 on, Steffl worked for eight years in market research at the European headquarters of a Japanese pharmaceutical manufacturer in Munich, then coordinated the merger of HypoVereinsbank at IT level before working for three months on an urban planning project for the City of New York in 1998.
Only then did Steffl study to become a teacher in Munich.
No wonder that he is active in the Erding-Freising-Airport School-Business Working Group and sees it as his focus to accommodate his students well in the companies.
