, which relies on data from British research group MGK,
Asterix and the Griffon
has sold 1.2 million copies, four weeks after its release.
Céleste Surugue, general manager of the Albert-René editions, welcomed this new success, in the columns of the weekly.
“These sales are stable and even slightly higher compared to the 38th album released in 2019,

They confirm the 7% growth that we experienced between the 37th and the 38th adventure, ”
explained the editor.

“According to our first reports, sales are growing very strongly in Canada and slightly up in Belgium.
In Germany, our second market after France, they are also increasing, by around 4% to date - 9% for the edition with hardcover and 3% for the soft version ”, she

under the tree is high.
In anticipation of the paper shortage which should threaten the publishing world in the coming weeks, the

explains that the Albert-René editions have already launched a reprint of
Asterix and the Griffon
.
Before the publication in the first half of 2022 of the Argentine, Brazilian, South African, Danish, Czech, Romanian, Mexican, Greek, and Hungarian versions, the publishing house plans a release in the United States for December 7.
