The number of newly reported corona cases within a week has continued to climb in Schleswig-Holstein.
On Thursday, the seven-day incidence was 122.9 - after 116.1 on Wednesday, according to the data from the state registration office.
701 new infections were reported nationwide within 24 hours.
On Wednesday it was 825.
Kiel - Schleswig-Holstein ranks nationwide in the fourth virus wave according to the figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), however, still far below - with the lowest seven-day incidence.
The RKI gave the nationwide seven-day incidence on Thursday (midnight) as 336.9.
Nine further Covid-19 deaths were reported in Schleswig-Holstein;
the total number in the pandemic rose to 1769. The number of patients with a corona infection in hospital rose to 128 on Thursday (Wednesday: 127).
33 of them were treated in intensive care units, 17 had to be ventilated.
The so-called hospitalization incidence - i.e. the number of corona patients who per 100,000 people came to clinics within seven days - was 2.75 (Wednesday: 3.09).

In Schleswig-Holstein, the seven-day incidence of the corona pandemic rose again and was 98.4 on Sunday - after 97.9 the previous day.
According to the state registration office (as of 7:36 p.m.), 142 new infections were registered within one day;

Seven-day incidence in two regions over 100
The seven-day incidence of new corona infections rose slightly on Thursday in Schleswig-Holstein and was over 100 in two regions.
In the Herzogtum-Lauenburg district, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 111.0 and in North Frisia 102.3.
In Flensburg it was 99, after 100.1 on Wednesday.

The seven-day incidence is still highest in the Neumünster district, where it rose from 247.8 to 249.0 within a day, followed by the Duchy of Lauenburg (174.7) and Lübeck (161.2).
Dithmarschen is comparatively best with a value of 75.8.
