District - The hope for the third victory in a row was not fulfilled for the volleyball women of the TV Planegg-Krailling.
Against the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg 2, the protégés of coach Florian Saller had to admit defeat with 2: 3 (25:20, 19:25, 22:25, 25:21, 11:15).
The TVP women got off to a better start. The hosts defended the lead in the final sprint to 25:20 set success. In the second run things didn't go as smoothly for the Saller troop. They followed the guests from the start. In the acceptance and also in the feed, errors crept in again and again, so that the sentence was lost at 19:25. It was similar in the third sentence. The TVP ladies found it difficult to slow down the attacks of the guests. With an intermediate sprint, the hosts fought their way to 21:21. But the Lower Bavarians recorded the better end with 25:22. In the fourth round, Saller sent a different starting line-up onto the field and that paid off. With a 25:21, the TVP women equalized after sets.In the tie-break, the hosts fought their way back to 9:10 after being four points behind. The Rote Raben reserve had more grains in the final phase, so they won the tie-break with 15:11, and with it the match. "Against a good opponent, I'm not dissatisfied with my performance," said Saller, who is challenged with his team on Sunday (4 pm) at the TG Bad Soden.
