", estimated Baptiste Porcher, specifying that the door of the apartment was closed of inside at the time of the incident.
According to testimonies collected on the day of the tragedy, the man would have waited for the woman to return to clear the window in front of her, around 7:00 p.m.
The latter then ran into the apartment where she found the body of the lifeless baby.
According to a police source, the mother had lodged a complaint for violence by her companion on her person but had said that she was not worried about her daughter when she was alone with her father, assuring that he was not capable of preying on the child.
The man and woman, who was hospitalized in shock, were in the process of separation but still lived together, according to the same source.
