On the A9, the tractor for a cattle transport, fully loaded with calves, burned out.
The emergency services were able to prevent the fire from spreading.
Allershausen
- A tractor unit burned out on Tuesday evening on the A 9 motorway in the direction of Munich near Allershausen.
The fire from spreading to the double-decker trailer, which was fully loaded with calves, was prevented by a massive fire-fighting attack and the routine cooperation of all the emergency services involved.
To prevent the animals from being exposed to the smoke, a fan was placed.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
At the same time as fighting the fire, leaking operating materials were bound.
However, the damage to the diesel tanks could not prevent a mixture of extinguishing water and diesel from penetrating the ground.
The motorway was completely closed for the duration of the extinguishing work.
Nobody got hurt.
