Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, made a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian, during which he discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.
Minister Miqdad also discussed during the call the economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries, in addition to developments in the region and regional and international issues of common interest.
During the call, Minister Miqdad conveyed the greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.
Minister Al-Miqdad expressed his satisfaction that his Iranian counterpart, Amir Abdullahian, had recovered after being quarantined recently due to being infected with the Corona virus.
In turn, Minister Abdullahian invited Minister Miqdad to visit Tehran to follow up the exchange of consultations on issues of concern to the two brotherly countries.
