District - TSV Neuried had to work hard against FC Kosova Munich to keep the points in their own stadium.
In the penultimate game of the year, the men of coaching team Josip Hrgovic and Maximilian Zgud prevailed 1-0 against the bottom of the pack.
"The team played well and deserved to win," said Zgud with satisfaction. "We just had to close the bag earlier," added Zgud, with a view to a poor exploitation of chances against Munich, who presented themselves completely differently than in the first leg, which TSV still won 5-1. On the Neurieder artificial turf, the hosts had more of the game in the first half. But there were not many opportunities. The best was given by Maximilian Kriebel (35th) alone in front of the goal. It got better after the change. The new recruits worked out a few options. One of them was used by Kriebel (58th), who sank a sharp cross from the baseline to make it 1-0. Afterwards, however, the home side failed to replenish it. So the game stayed exciting and the guests in the game.Ultimately, the TSV brought the narrow victory over time. Before the last game of the year on Sunday (2.30 p.m.) at SpVgg Haidhausen, the Neurieder ranked sixth in the District League South.
