The Bundestag has approved a new resolution with new corona measures.

An overview of which rules should remain in place and which should no longer apply in the future.

Berlin - On Thursday, the Bundestag passed the corona rules for the traffic light parties for the period from November 25th.

Then the so-called epidemic situation of national scope, which was the legal basis for numerous requirements, will come to an end.

The previous catalog of particularly strict measures is to be reduced, while new measures are made possible at the same time.

The plans can still change if they are not approved by the Federal Council.

The Union threatens to be rejected.

According to the traffic light, no longer possible in the future:

- Exit restrictions

- Comprehensive school and daycare closings

- Comprehensive bans or restrictions on travel, accommodation and catering

- Comprehensive bans on demonstrations, gatherings or church services

- extensive closure or restriction of shops and businesses

- Prohibitions on exercising

Probably only possible with the consent of the federal states:

- Bans or restrictions on leisure, cultural or sporting events

- Prohibitions or restrictions on the operation of leisure or cultural facilities

- Prohibitions or restrictions on the consumption and sale of alcohol in certain public areas

- Union-led federal states are calling for more opportunities here

Still possible with ordinance by the state government:

- Contact restrictions

- Distance regulations

- Capacity restrictions, e.g. requirements for the number of visitors to events

- Mask requirement

- Access regulations for vaccinated and convalescent (2G) or tested (3G)

- Hygiene requirements for companies

- Requirements for the operation of schools

- Collection of contact data in restaurants or at events

New to be added nationwide:

- 3G in the workplace

- Mandatory home office (reintroduction)

- 3G in transport

- Compulsory testing in nursing homes or clinics

- Clarification in criminal law and harsher penalties for particularly severe cases of vaccination or test falsification

Should be extended:

- Childhood sickness days even with quarantine or restriction in school or daycare

- Compensation for employees in the event of loss of earnings due to quarantine

- Simplified access to social benefits such as Hartz IV or child allowance

- Obligation for employers to offer tests for employees dpa
