After the Hérault and the Grand Pic Saint-Loup hiking trail (GRP), make way for Morbihan and the GR 340 - Tour de Belle-Île-en-Mer.
This route has just been voted “Favorite GR for the French 2022” at the end of the fifth edition of the “My Favorite GR” competition organized by the French Hiking Federation.
From October 28 to November 17, 2021, the general public was invited to vote online on the MonGR.fr site from a list of eight competing trails.
Praised by the public, this trail was also popular with the jury (made up of personalities from the world of hiking and tourism) who awarded it its “favorite”.
A distinction which was important since it offered the GR 340 a 20% bonus of the votes which allowed it to overtake the GR de Pays Massif du Ventoux (Vaucluse), number two in the ranking.
