Hamburg's Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) has given the latest Corona resolutions by the Ministerial Presidents' Conference (MPK) a positive rating.
"I welcome the fact that the MPK decided today to implement the 2G concept in a binding manner throughout Germany," said Tschentscher on Thursday evening, according to a message.
"Together with the regulations passed by the German Bundestag on the obligation to work from home as well as the 3G requirements at work and in public transport, this can help slow down the rate of infection."
Hamburg - Tschentscher announced that Hamburg in the Bundesrat would approve the changes to the Infection Protection Act decided by the Bundestag.
With the changes, “the legal basis for the federal states to implement important measures to combat the pandemic was retained”.
