Al-Tadamun Police Department arrested two people in possession of 5 kilograms of narcotic hashish in Al-Zahira Al-Jadida, Damascus.
The Ministry of Interior stated, in a statement that SANA received a copy of, that after receiving information about the presence of a person promoting narcotic substances in the New Al-Zahira area, a patrol went to the place and set up an ambush and arrested two people in possession of 5 kilograms of hashish. They admitted sending them by another person to Al-Zahira Al-Jadida to receive the narcotics.
The ministry indicated that by investigating the kiosk, it was found that it was not licensed, and paper books related to cannabis were found, indicating that all goods were confiscated and a worker in the kiosk was arrested for admitting to using and distributing narcotic substances.
