Groebenzell - On November 17th at around 6.15 p.m., a 75-year-old drove her Skoda onto a parked Smart on Alpenstrasse.
The Skoda tilted to the side and the driver could no longer leave the vehicle.
"The fire brigade of the Gröbenzell fire brigade cut open the roof of the vehicle with hydraulic rescue equipment in order to gently free the lady from the vehicle together with the rescue service," explained Christian Weirauch, commander of the Gröbenzell volunteer fire brigade.
"After an examination in the ambulance, it was clear that the driver had survived the accident almost unharmed and did not have to go to the hospital."
The vehicles involved in the accident were towed away and leaking operating materials were included.
The mission ended after around 45 minutes.
The police and the district fire inspection were also on site.
