“Worldwide Walkout” and solidarity protest for unvaccinated people in Austria: The Frankfurt scene of “lateral thinkers”, anti-vaccination opponents and conspiracy believers is stirring.

Frankfurt - If the critics of the Corona * measures have their way, Frankfurt will be the scene of their protest.

Two events will be called for Saturday, November 20, 2021.

This is, on the one hand, the Frankfurt edition of the “Worldwide Walkout” and, on the other hand, a demonstration of solidarity with opponents of the Corona measures in Austria.

It starts with the organizers: the “Worldwide Walkout” movement, which originally came from the USA.

This is an initiative of the organization "Children's Health Defense", a group that, according to the long-standing science magazine Scientific American, is one of the main sources of misinformation about vaccines.

The group is led by the US lawyer, environmental activist, author and vaccine opponent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the third son of Robert "Bobby" Kennedy, brother of the former US President John F. Kennedy *.

Two demonstrations in Frankfurt against corona measures

The group campaigns for vaccine denial in the United States and encourages citizens and politicians to support anti-vaccine regulations and laws. While their arguments against vaccination are refuted by the overwhelming scientific consensus on the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, the group has now gained a large following in the United States.

Now “Worldwide Walkout” is expanding to Europe and is calling on German vaccination opponents and those involved in the “lateral thinking” scene to meet at Willy Brandt Platz in Frankfurt from 1 p.m. under the motto “5G-free against forced vaccination”.

A spokesman for the Frankfurt police spoke at the request of fr.de of the expected 60 participants.

Following their own demonstration, the conspirators and skeptics could immediately join the next event.

Because only two hours later, at 3 p.m., the "lateral thinkers" want to express their solidarity with like-minded people in the neighboring country who are groaning under the now strict Corona measures in their country in front of the Austrian consulate.

The Frankfurt police informed fr.de that the demonstration of the “lateral thinkers”, which operates under the title “Child Protection”, is to begin at 3 p.m. at the consulate and to arrive there again after a tour of the city.

The end of the event is planned for 7 p.m., 200 to 300 participants are expected.

In addition to "lateral thinkers" and opponents of vaccinations, further demos in Frankfurt

Due to the fact that on the same day there was also a stationary rally for Transgender Day (Goetheplatz, 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.) and a demonstration march against violence against women (start at 2 p.m. at Kaisersack, end at 7 p.m. at Opernplatz) with 100 and 200 to 300 participants respectively take place, the police will be challenged at different locations at the same time.

The spokesman for the Frankfurt police confirmed to fr.de that everything would be done to guarantee a peaceful and orderly course of the various rallies in all cases.

If hygiene measures are disregarded, the police will contact the event management as usual and act with their own loudspeaker announcements.

If these measures are unsuccessful, more are possible.

However, the participants in the demonstrations are always initially acted on with the comparatively mildest means.

There is no information available so far about counter-protests against the "lateral thinkers" and opponents of vaccinations.
