Last week Monika Gruber said on Servus TV: “The 2G rule makes me unable to play. That's why I stop earlier than planned. I don't want to take part in the division in society. ”Politicians have fueled this division in recent months, too many citizens have blindly and mindlessly supported everything. The questioning citizens, on the other hand, would be portrayed as "unconventional thinkers, stupid and clueless".
After Gruber had already said in October that she was thinking of retiring, she felt compelled to clarify after appearing on Servus TV.
At the weekend, she posted a 1.30 minute long video on her Facebook page.
In it, she emphasizes: "I'm not stopping the tour, it has just started." Yes, she is against 2G.
“That divides society.” Gruber does not see why a healthy, symptom-free person with a negative PCR test should not take part.
And she admits: “That is my personal opinion.
But there is a legal situation and it is just a different one. "

The 50-year-old will play the new program in Austria until the end of the year, and she will come to Germany with it in 2022.
Of course it goes on.
"I hope that it will go back to 3G or 3G-plus and that people who have not been vaccinated can participate again."
She is also continuing her tour "because I also have a responsibility to my employees".
But also towards their vaccinated fans.
"It would be total nonsense to lock you out (in the event of a cancellation / editor's note)."
However, she is increasingly concerned “whether people will come at all.
They are at home and have got used to it. ”Many of their appointments in Austria up to the end of the year have long since been sold out - at ticket prices between 30 and 50 euros.
Less than a week ago, Gruber had already commented on the introduction of the 2G rule on Facebook - also very critically: “What else is the government not giving us?” In Austria, she started her new program “because I thought, the Austrians are a bit more sensible. ”But now 2G also applies there.

“I would test anyone, whether vaccinated or recovered.
Because we all know that those who have been vaccinated can also be contagious.

"I want to be sure that when I sign autographs or when I hug someone, I can't infect anyone."
Gruber also assures our newspaper that the tour will end regularly.
After that, however, is "definitely over".
Politicians are also responsible for this, since they have left culture completely on the left since the beginning of the pandemic.
Even brothels counted more.
At the same time, the football stadiums are full again.
And Gruber does not believe that there is no risk of infection from them.
Especially the smaller artists were hit hard, as well as the entire environment of this branch.

As an artist, you become blind to the business. You are already wondering: "Do people really still find this funny?"
Of course, the artist will not completely disappear from the public eye.
In the interview, she reports that she has the idea for a script.
She is working on the text with a good friend.
She didn't want to reveal much yet, just this much: It should be a road movie with two women - maybe even without a happy ending.
She is already talking to a prominent actress.
And she is serious about the idea of running a sausage stand.
“Most of them don't believe me, but I can well imagine it.” Your dream location: near the Munich Opera.
"Then everyone meets here - from ordinary citizens to tourists to opera-goers." However, she feared that she would not get the space in front of the National Theater for a sausage stand.
