Today, the Armenian Ministry of Defense announced that 6 of its soldiers were killed during the battles on the border with Azerbaijan on November 16.
"During the battles that erupted on the 16th of November as a result of the attack of the Azerbaijani forces, 6 soldiers have been killed from the Armenian side so far," said a statement posted on the ministry's official website, noting that it had lost two military positions that came under the control of Baku.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported that 7 of its soldiers were killed and 10 others were wounded during the clashes.
The Armenian Defense Ministry announced last Tuesday the success of the Russian mediation in reaching a ceasefire in the eastern part of the country's border with Azerbaijan.
