The municipality of Aying wants to tackle the new construction of the tool shed for the Aying volunteer fire brigade.

Ayings Town Hall chief Peter Wagner (CSU) has now received the order from the local council to take the next steps for the preliminary planning.

Aying - In 2022, the site survey, the building position and the costs are to be determined for the new tool shed and the financing checked.

There should also be preliminary talks with the fire brigade and the planners.

Main Office Manager Christian Singer made three points in favor of the current building of the weir: It is old, it is far too narrow in it and there are far too many risk of accidents.

The latter especially when the emergency vehicles move out and when they are back in the vehicle hall.

The district fire inspection has also criticized this several times.

The Ayinger fire brigade house is at the end.

Mayor Peter Wagner

Wagner, who is himself a young Florian, put it in a nutshell: “The Ayinger fire brigade building is at the end.” It is difficult to find accommodation for the crew, because changing facilities for use or exercises are only available in the vehicle hall, i.e. in the immediate vicinity of the vehicles .

Otherwise, the house no longer meets the standard that the community as employer should actually offer the volunteers.

In addition, the fire brigade has been given more and more tasks, which mean that many fire brigades have more assignments.

Wagner only brought up one topic: "The extremes are also increasing, especially due to natural events." And the help of the fire brigade is often necessary here.

Hope for the new building

With great skill, the volunteers have already found solutions for the tool shed to keep operations running and to minimize danger points. The Ayingers made the best of their situation. Nevertheless, there was always hope for a new building. For several years now, efforts have also been made in the community to find a better solution for the fire fighters. This is now to be implemented by a new building.

In the new zoning plan, a building area (for public needs) on Peißer Straße (State Road 2081) between Aying and Peiß has already been designated for this.

The building is to be erected at the former Wasserhausl.

It has already been heard in the past that the necessary land negotiations with the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising were not easy.

But they seem to be closed now.

“Now is the time,” said Wagner.

Obtaining ideas from others

In the surrounding area, some houses are currently being built that can be visited, perhaps to pick up one or the other idea.

The area acquired must be carefully examined to see how a vehicle hall can be built there.

And then no one really knows how expensive the Ayinger Wehr's new tool shed can be.

Is it three million or is it six million?

Or more?

All of these questions should be answered in the preliminary planning, which should deliver results in the coming year.
