Gauting - On Friday morning there was a violent incident in an apartment on Ammerseestrasse.
A 63-year-old and a 65-year-old man are housed in the apartment in question.
At 6 a.m., the two men had an argument over a pack of cigarettes. In the course of the dispute, the younger man first strangled his two-year-old roommate on the neck with both hands, before hitting him on the head with a vodka bottle and then slapping him in the face with both fists. He loudly demanded that the 65-year-old hand over the cigarettes, which he then handed over to him. The physically inferior man suffered massive bruises on his face from the beating. After this massive attack, he fled the apartment and notified the Gautingen police. Due to the present injury pattern, which also has massive choking marks on his neck, he then had to be taken to the emergency room of the Starnberg hospital by the emergency services.
His roommate was arrested by the police officers who had arrived in the apartment.
By order of the public prosecutor's office, he first had to take a blood sample at the Gautingen police station.
In addition, by order of the Munich II public prosecutor's office, the man with a relevant criminal record must remain in the detention cell of the Gautinger Wache until tomorrow because of his presentation to the investigating judge in Munich for dangerous bodily harm.
