All corona measures that Prime Minister Söder presented on Friday will initially apply in Bavaria until December 15.

These are the rules:

  • According to Söder, there is a “de facto lockdown for unvaccinated people”.

    Means: A maximum of five people from two households are allowed to meet, not including children under 12.

  • 2G and 2G Plus will be tightened.

    Body-hugging services such as hairdressing are also included.

  • 2G Plus means: recovered or vaccinated with a mask plus rapid test.

  • Trading remains excluded from 2G.

  • There is a curfew at 10 p.m. in the catering trade.

  • For sports, cultural and leisure events, an upper limit of 25 percent applies to occupancy.

    This rule also applies to football games (Bundesliga), for example.

  • The controls are being tightened.

  • Discos, clubs, night restaurants and bars will be closed.

  • All annual markets and Christmas markets are canceled.

  • There should be bridging aid.

  • According to Söder, “everything has to be closed” at hotspots with an incidence of over 1000.

    This currently affects eight districts in Bavaria.

    Exceptions are schools, daycare centers, retail, old people's and nursing homes.

Söder also emphasized that nobody should be turned away when vaccinated.

Company doctors are to be increasingly involved again.

It is hoped that "the federal government will introduce compulsory vaccinations," said the Prime Minister.
