Thousands of people demonstrated in Burkina Faso against the passage of a large convoy of the French army to neighboring Niger, expressing their opposition to the French re-colonization of Africa.

According to Agence France-Presse, the participants in the demonstration in the city of Kaya, north of Burkina Faso, carried banners saying “French army leave”, “Liberate the coast” and “No more military convoys of invasion and French colonization,” chanting the national anthem in front of the French convoy consisting of dozens of vehicles. that was still parked.
