The filmmaker Klaus Bichlmeier is pissed off at the Bavarian State Forests.

This in turn does not understand the excitement.

It's about the white woman in the Ebersberger Forst, a film and misunderstandings.

Ebersberg

- Klaus Bichlmeier (75) describes himself as a hobby filmmaker who has been using the camera for 50 years.

Now he no longer understands the world.

After shooting at the Hubertus Chapel in the Ebersberger Forest, he received mail from the Bavarian State Forests.

Reason: Bichlmeier did not have a filming permit.

The director fears adversity and announces that he would rather go to jail than pay a fine.

The mysterious white woman, who is supposed to appear to motorists in the area of the chapel and who is known throughout Germany, also cast a spell over Bichlmeier.

According to legend, the victim of the accident appears again and again at the Hubertus Chapel in search of the perpetrator.

Disabled girl plays the main role

The Munich filmmaker met Lucia Fischer (16), a disabled girl from the Erding district, who regularly came to the chapel to pray for the white woman. She won Bichlmeier as the leading actress for his short film "It was a great wish of the girl to act in a film", says Bichlmeier.

The film was broadcast in the Erdinger Kino last Wednesday, and the Bavarian State Forests also became aware of the announcement in our newspaper and on our online portal.

You are the owner of the forest and are represented by the Wasserburg forestry company.

He wrote an email to Bichlmeier, asking whether the filmmaker had permission from the landowner?

Bichlmeier did not answer because, as he says, he wanted to wait for the film to be shown in Erding first.

Another e-mail from the forest company followed, in which “legal steps” were mentioned, “if a timely agreement / clarification does not take place”.

That was too much for the director.

He speaks of state cannons that shoot sparrows.

Literally he says: “Well, now I am a criminal because I made the disabled girl's greatest wish come true.

It will now come to a judicial dispute.

Apparently the state forest wants money from me.

But I am not ready for it.

If I lose the trial, I'll be happy to go to jail. "

Forest company: We are happy when he talks to us

Heinz Utschig, head of the Wasserburg forestry company, does not see a process for a long time.

Utschig bothers that Bichlmeier did not contact his house after two letters.

"We are happy when he talks to us," says Utschig when asked by the Ebersberger Zeitung.

That's exactly what he didn't do in the run-up to filming, although he should have done it.

Bichlmeier “probably didn't understand” that shooting a film in the forest was not covered by the “general right of access”.

As the owner's representative, the forest enterprise must be informed of film recordings, says Utschig.

Television broadcasters do this regularly.

There are never any problems, the permits are usually granted free of charge.

In the case of Klaus Bichlmeier, such a permit could also be granted retrospectively.

"The gentleman just has to contact us."
