He received a "fixed" fee of 1,200 euros per month to provide information on investigations to Vincenzo Porcelli, head of a clan operating in Metapontino: Michele Fico, a carabiniere serving in Matera, was arrested by the police in execution of a custody order precautionary measure in prison issued by the investigating judge of Potenza at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of the Lucanian capital.
In addition to the "fixed", from September 2015 to November 2019, Fico would have received other money from the clan leader, for a total - according to investigators - of about 75 thousand euros.
