What does your Friday look like?
"In the morning, as every morning, I sit up in bed and greet 'Hear Israel' and 'I confess.' I'm not religious, but I am a person of faith. I'm constantly taking free courses, for enrichment only. Now I'm taking marketing courses. Then I teach sound development, and I do that through zoom too. After classes I cook dinner: meatballs, quinoa, rice and lots of vegetables. "I light candles and go to a private pool, where I meet my twins, Ella and Eden (28). We have a tradition of shared bathing and hugs in the water. After the pool I eat dinner, usually alone, and occasionally the twins join."
And after dinner?
"Right at the beginning of the Corona, I started a tradition of an international zoom meeting with a close and limited circle of friends from Israel and the world. We start at midnight and it's a social celebration that can last even until 8 in the morning. I call it 'Encouragement' because my name in English is Daphne."
Sounds like you spend most of the time on the weekends alone.
"It's been like this for 20 years - me, myself and myself. A lone wolf. The children lived with me until a few years ago, but I do not want it to be like that. Today, with a lot of spiritual work in the background, I learned to know myself and I can start. "A relationship without fear. One day I may find a good friend for life, because in my eyes friendship is more important than a relationship."
What do you do on Saturdays?
"Rests and makes arrangements at home. I really like doing laundry. I watch TED lectures and research and engage in learning and personal development. I recently started learning how to achieve passive income."
As a child living in London, what is your strongest memory from there?
"I was a bookworm. On Fridays I would go with my dad, the late Eric, to the West Hampstead Children's Library and exchange books.
Even on snowy days we would go.
On Saturdays we would go to the nearby synagogue. "
Your tip for a successful weekend?
"Complete what you did not deliver during the week, rest and be with family and friends."
