Omri Goren Gorochovsky, 37, was arrested by the Shin Beth, the Israeli internal security service, as he was about to deliver confidential information about his employer, Benny Gantz, the Minister of Defense, to the group of Black Shadow pro-Iran hackers.
He planned to install malware into the ex-Army Chief of Staff's personal computer and got in touch with the hackers through Telegram encrypted messaging.

The cleaner would have acted for financial reasons.
He made contact with Black Shadow by posting photos of Benny Gantz's family home.
Among the shots are the Defense Minister's office, his computers, phone, tablet, a box with IDF-related encryption, a router and IP address, as well as receipts attesting that he pay their property taxes.
