For those who have not heard, in recent days the 13th World E-Sports Championship has been held in our small country, in the city of Eilat.
On Tuesday, the opening whistle began the festive event in which players and teams from all over the world came to Israel to compete and win their country the title of "World Champion" on behalf of the World Electronic Sports Federation.
On the first day it was the Israeli counter-strike team that found itself out of the tournament, and on the second day it was the Tekken player who was eliminated in the quarterfinals, but there was still hope for the eFootball player and our Dota team.

The third day was the unfortunate day in which the players of the Overwolf Israel team were eliminated from the competition and Israel found itself out of the tournament.
The Dota team found themselves in the semi-finals of the losing house, where they defeated Guatemala in the first round by a score of 2-0, but it was the Swedes who defeated the Israelis in the second round by a score of 2-0 and knocked them out of the competition.
Our Israeli eFootball player, Uriel Daniel, also had a difficult day, and already in the first round of the finals he suffered a 3-0 loss to the Spanish player, who is also considered the professional ESports player of the Bayern Munich team.

It is important to remember that although Israel has not reached the finals, it is still a particularly respectable achievement for local players, especially given the fact that in Israel the gaming industry is much less developed than in the rest of the world, and in many countries.
Although Israel is already out of the world championships on the third day, the event continues to take place in the city of Eilat and will culminate tonight (Friday, November 19), and is still a significant attraction that may continue to positively advance the industry's development in the country.
