, built the house of their dreams for them and their teenage daughter, and sought to adapt it also to accommodate their older children who had already left home and started their own families. To bring all their dreams, desires and needs to an exact fulfillment, hire the services of architect Haki Zamir.

This is a new house less than a year old in the Sharon area.

The size of the plot is about 500 square meters and on it were built 250 square meters that are spread over two floors and in addition there is also a basement of another 200 square meters. The construction process of the house took about a year. "The age of the children, and beyond analyzing the directions of light and the flow of traffic in the house, the tenants had a hidden dream of having a 'lofty' house," says architect Haki Zamir.

The wish comes true in the choice of materials, which emphasizes a lot of exposed concrete, wood and glass, and in the design of the double space, and the game it creates between high public spaces and lower and more intimate spaces.

The game between the types of spaces along with the maximum openness to diverse outdoor areas as well, which include a pool, garden and a spacious pergola - that accompany the space, allows tenants who like to host extended family and friends, a variety of accommodation options from very intimate to many participants.

In addition, the double loft-style space produces intimate work spaces on the first floor, but is also very open to the public space.

The entrance passes through spacious steps of bamboo deck and front garden, leading to a foyer with high ceilings that allows visitors to send an intriguing view throughout the house to the end of the garden. From the front foyer to the back of the house stretches an airtight wall on which carpentry items include: a spacious entrance closet, technical cabinets covered with art pictures, a library that contains besides books also collections of antique housewares, and finally the kitchen. The entire length of the carpentry is made of dark wood designed to bring a warmer dimension to the loft space. The art items displayed in the library have been carefully selected by the homeowners.

Above the kitchen and dining area a relatively low exposed concrete ceiling. The kitchen itself was designed by the landlady, and is also characterized by dark and warm colors. The back of the kitchen is made of high and low cabinets and in front of it, facing the dining table, stands a large and spacious island above which hovers a metal cabinet unit that includes a decorative cooker hood and options for hanging cooking utensils next to vegetation.

The dining area and the spacious dining table, designed to host a very large family, border two sides with a minimalist and elegant aluminum display case (aluminum star), where you can regulate the light levels and exposure to the garden and pool spaces at the touch of a button.

The central space is under a double height ceiling and borders on each of its four sides a different significant design element: the library, the sculpted staircase, the dining area and the transparent aluminum display overlooking the outdoor living space covered with a metal and wooden pergola and below it a dining table and a spacious seating area. .

On the ground floor there is also a spacious master suite which is entered through the entrance foyer of the house.

The master suite, which also has the exposed concrete on the one hand, and soft furniture on the other, faces inside a wardrobe that hides spacious bathroom spaces behind it and the outside into the outdoor space and pool, which is surrounded by bamboo.

The exposed concrete is present here as well.

The second floor is accessed using a transparent stair element that allows constant eye contact with the outdoor spaces.

The staircase and railings are made of black metal.

And the main railing of the stairwell is an exposed concrete wall with a round hole in the center that allows a two-way glimpse of the course of the stairs for both those who ascend the stairs and those who watch them.

A library gallery was built on the top floor that corresponds with the design language of the library on the ground floor.

The most prominent thing in the library is an artistic sculpture placed in its center in the shape of a circle made of a metal construction in which a variety of books of different sizes and colors are threaded.

On the ceiling hangs a round and transparent light fixture that can be seen further from the street before entering the house, and is designed to break and penetrate the double space, as it can be seen from the public space and the space above.

Upstairs, intimate work spaces, but as mentioned, are open and overlook the living room at the same time to the outside view, through the continuation of the minimalist aluminum showcase.

The gallery leads to three children's bedrooms and guest accommodation which are in two separate wings.
