"bus specialist" and local councilor Richard Eck (UBG) spread good news at the Stockdorf citizens' meeting and then at the meeting of the main and finance committee: The new public transport timetable, which will apply from December 12, will be there on the route of the MVV bus 936 shorter cycles and therefore more trips.

Line 936 runs between Gautinger Schulcampus, Gauting S-Bahn station, Stockdorf, Krailling, Planegg, Neuried and Fürstenried West U-Bahn station.

A new feature on this route is a 20-minute cycle with 17 additional trips between 7.25 a.m. and 1.25 p.m. from Monday to Friday, explained Eck. On Saturdays, after the timetable change, the 936 will even run at night until 0.55 a.m. And every 60 minutes on Sundays until 10:50 p.m. On the bus route 949, which runs between the S-Bahn stations Gilching-Argelsried, Gauting and Starnberg Nord, but also goes to Unterbrunn and the Asklepios-Kliniken Gauting, there will be a total of 26 additional trips on weekdays from mid-December. Brand new: The 949 bus, which goes to the Gilching industrial estate, the future “Gautinger Feld” and the future Gautinger Handwerkerhof, will also run on Saturdays and Sundays from December 12th.

Eck has found another attraction from the timetable after the timetable change: The bus 966 from Oberbrunn to the Gautinger school campus, which also goes to the Gautinger Badviertel and Königswiesen, will be extended to Unterbrunn, the “bus specialist” informed.

The additional offers that make it easier to switch to local public transport for climate protection should also be published, Richard Eck called for better bus utilization in the finance committee.

After all, the community also contributes to the costs.

Most of the deficits are borne by the district.

The new timetables can also be found on www.gauting.de.
