While the Prime Minister's Conference is still running, merkur.de has the draft resolution for the new Infection Protection Act.

That should change for children.

Berlin - The Prime Ministers today approved the resolution for today's conference.

In addition to maintenance, a new 2G regulation and financial support for companies, the paper is also about the smallest members of our community.

That changes in schools and daycare centers: test strategy, closings and more from the proposed resolution

According to the decision of the Prime Minister's Conference, schoolchildren in particular suffer from the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. It was therefore “agreed that further stress for children and young people should be avoided and at the same time they should be protected as best as possible”. This should continue to be implemented via a "regular and child-friendly" test strategy.

According to the Infection Protection Act, this means: two tests per week for students and teachers.

From a seven-day incidence of 100 on three consecutive days in the district, there is a switch to alternate teaching.

If the incidence exceeds 165 on three consecutive days, lessons will only take place in homeschooling.

This procedure may soon change: According to statements by the possible traffic light coalition, schools and daycare center closings should no longer be possible in the future.

Vaccination is the only way out of the pandemic: countries should continue to provide information

The decision paper of the Prime Minister's Conference also deals with vaccinating the youngest.

Because: "With specific vaccination information, the federal states will continue to address the staff in daycare centers and schools as well as children and adolescents from the age of 12 and inform them about the importance of the vaccination and the 'booster' vaccination."
