A number of Palestinians were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of two anti-settlement demonstrations in the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in a demonstration in Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on its summit, which led to the injury of a Palestinian man and 14 others who suffocated.
The occupation forces also fired poison gas canisters at the participants in a demonstration in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, to protest against the occupation's seizure of large areas of the village's lands to expand settlement operations, which led to the injury of 7 Palestinians by suffocation.
