In Grünwald, an 81-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car and seriously injured on Thursday.

- On Thursday around 3 p.m., a 56-year-old from the Munich district drove his jeep down Oberhachinger Strasse towards the town.
According to the police report, he wanted to turn left at the intersection with Tölzer Straße.
At the same time, an 81-year-old was using the pedestrian ford along Oberhachinger Strasse and wanted to cross it at the intersection with Tölzer Strasse.
There was a collision between the car and the pedestrian.
The 81-year-old was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital for inpatient treatment by the ambulance service.
During the recording of the accident, there was little traffic disruption in the intersection area.
The Munich traffic police have taken over the investigation.
