Milan prosecutor Francesca Crupi asked for a 30-year sentence for Marco Venturi, 45, accused of voluntary murder for killing his girlfriend Carlotta Benusiglio, a 37-year-old designer who was found hanged with a scarf from a tree in the gardens of the square Naples, in Milan, on the night of May 31, 2016. Three times, by the investigating judge, Riesame and Cassazione, the request for arrest was rejected for the man, accused in abbreviated form before the magistrate Raffaella Mascarino also for stalking and injuries to damage of the partner.
An expert in the investigation phase established that it would be suicide.
