The director of the Simón Bolívar police school was fired after students "recreated scenes alluding to the period of Nazi Germany," according to the Colombian National Police in a statement.
According to the authorities, the incident occurred when students were carrying out a "pedagogical activity on world history."
The event caused controversy and repudiation.
The embassies of Israel and Germany in Bogotá requested in a joint statement that it be investigated and sanctioned.
